Karachi: Frere Police Arrest Notorious Motorcycle Lifter in District South

Karachi, Pakistan (HRNW)- In a targeted operation against street crime and vehicular theft, the District South Police have successfully apprehended a suspect involved in motorcycle snatching. According to a statement released by the spokesperson for SSP South, Mahzoor Ali, the Frere Police Station team conducted the raid as part of an ongoing crackdown to secure the city’s neighborhoods.

The arrested suspect has been identified as Hassan Ali, son of Ali. During the arrest, police recovered a stolen motorcycle—a United 125, bearing registration number KOR-8045. Investigations confirmed that the vehicle had been reported stolen from within the jurisdictional limits of the Frere Police Station.

A formal case (FIR No. 99/2026) has been registered against the suspect under Section 381-A at the Frere Police Station. Legal proceedings are currently underway to determine the suspect’s involvement in other criminal activities and to track potential accomplices. The District South Police reaffirmed their commitment to intensifying patrols and surveillance to protect the property and safety of all citizens.
