Modi Will Not Be Prime Minister by End of 2024, Claims Arvind Kejriwal

DELHI (HRNW): Former Chief Minister of Delhi and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal has made a bold political prediction, claiming that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not remain in office by the end of this year. Speaking at a recent event, Kejriwal asserted that his “political intuition and heart” suggest that Modi will be unable to sustain his premiership into 2026. He further claimed that the era of both PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah is nearing its conclusion.

The AAP leader accused the ruling administration of losing its grip on public narrative, particularly on social media. Kejriwal noted a significant shift in the digital landscape, alleging that while the government machinery previously suppressed online dissent, the internet is now flooded with negative commentary and memes targeting the Prime Minister. He remarked that there was a time when individuals were jailed for creating memes against Modi, but the current surge in social media criticism reflects a sharp decline in the Prime Minister’s popularity.

Allegations of Electoral Malpractice

Kejriwal also leveled serious allegations of corruption and electoral tampering, citing his own recent electoral experience as an example:

  • Vote Deletion: He claimed that prior to his arrest, he held a substantial lead with approximately 148,000 votes.

  • Marginal Defeat: Following his release, he alleged that roughly 42,000 votes were deleted from the records, leading to a narrow defeat by a margin of only 3,000 votes.

  • Shift in Mandate: He pointed out the stark contrast in results, noting that he had previously won the same seat with a commanding majority of 30,000 votes.

The former Chief Minister concluded by stating that the ruling party is increasingly relying on administrative manipulation rather than public support to maintain its hold on power.
