19 Killed, 25 Injured as Passenger Bus Plunges Into Gorge in Dhading

Dhading District (HRNW) – A tragic accident occurred in Dhading district, Nepal, when a passenger bus carrying 44 people plunged into a 200-meter-deep gorge, resulting in heavy casualties.

According to Nepali police, 19 people lost their lives in the accident, while 25 others sustained injuries. Among the deceased is a British citizen, while a New Zealander and a Chinese national are reported to be among the injured.

Rescue teams promptly reached the site and launched relief operations. The injured are being shifted to nearby hospitals for medical treatment, and further rescue efforts are ongoing.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident as emergency teams continue their operations in the mountainous region.
