Tehran (HRNW)- A new wave of anti-government protests and unrest in Iran has further exacerbated the country’s instability. Thousands of people have reportedly been killed, while tensions remain high on the streets and in public spaces.
Citizens say feelings of anger against the government and anxiety about the future are affecting every aspect of life. “I have never experienced this kind of collective grief and instability,” said one resident.
Experts say the current situation could further complicate Iran’s economic, political and social crises, and serious measures are needed to restore public trust.
