US Claims Iran Fired Missiles Toward Bahrain and Kuwait Amid Rising Gulf Tensions

Manama (HRNW) – The United States military has claimed that Iran launched seven ballistic missiles toward Bahrain and Kuwait amid escalating tensions in the Gulf region.

According to the US military’s account, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed six of the missiles, while the seventh reportedly failed to reach its intended target. Independent verification of these claims was not immediately available.

US officials stated that the reported missile launches came after American forces recently intercepted four Iranian drones approaching the Strait of Hormuz. They also said that US forces had conducted operations targeting radar installations on Iran’s Qeshm Island and other locations.

The US military added that no American personnel were immediately reported injured as a result of the reported missile attacks or related military operations.

In response to the developing situation, authorities in Bahrain and Kuwait reportedly activated emergency measures and placed defense and security agencies on heightened alert.

Several countries in the region, including Saudi Arabia, reportedly condemned the alleged missile attacks, describing them as a threat to regional security and national sovereignty.

The developments come amid heightened tensions in the Gulf, with regional and international observers closely monitoring the situation for any further escalation.
