Lahore (HRNW)- A new record has been set in Punjab for taking advantage of the government’s free travel facility. According to a report by the Mass Transit Authority, about 5 million passengers have traveled in the Metro Bus and Orange Line train in just 5 days.
The report states that there was extraordinary interest from the citizens in the free travel facility, which has increased the use of government transport among the public. The Mass Transit Authority has appealed to the citizens to continue taking advantage of this facility and promote the use of public transport.
The Metro Bus and Orange Line train staff also took steps to provide additional facilities and ensure the safety of passengers during this time.
