Bannu (HRNW)- A tragic incident occurred in the Warishmi Qala Mandan area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bannu district, where the roof of a house collapsed due to heavy rainfall, resulting in the deaths of three children and injuries to two others.
According to rescue sources, the roof of Sher Muhammad’s house suddenly caved in while his five children were inside the room, burying them under the debris. Rescue 1122 teams promptly launched an operation and managed to save two injured children, who were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.
Sadly, two daughters and a son lost their lives in the حادثہ. The bodies were recovered from the rubble and transported to the hospital. Local residents say that recent heavy rains have severely impacted mud houses in the area and have urged authorities to take stronger safety measures to prevent such incidents.
