Four-Nation Summit on Regional Crisis: Foreign Ministers of Egypt and Türkiye Arrive in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (HRNW) – In a major diplomatic effort to address the escalating tensions in the Middle East and mediate a ceasefire regarding Iran, the Foreign Ministers of Egypt and Türkiye have arrived in Islamabad to participate in a high-level four-nation summit hosted by Pakistan.

The Egyptian Foreign Minister, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, reached the federal capital following a special invitation from Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Ishaq Dar, and received a warm welcome upon his arrival at Islamabad Airport. Shortly thereafter, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan also arrived to join the proceedings, where he was greeted by the Additional Foreign Secretary for Afghanistan and West Asia, Syed Ali Asad Gillani.

This crucial diplomatic mission, scheduled for March 29 and 30, aims to establish a unified strategy to de-escalate regional hostilities and prevent a wider conflict between Iran and the United States. Chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, the conference includes top diplomats from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Egypt, all working toward a collective framework for regional peace, stability, and the reduction of war risks.
