Pakistan Coast Guards Seize High-Quality Foreign Liquor in Balochistan

KARACHI/BALOCHISTAN (HRNW): In a successful intelligence-based operation, the Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) have intercepted a major smuggling attempt in Balochistan, recovering a large cache of high-quality foreign liquor intended for inland distribution.

Acting on credible information regarding the movement of contraband, PCG teams conducted raids in the areas of Arman Bela (Uthal) and Gadani. During the operation, officials intercepted five vehicles loaded with 3,361 bottles of premium foreign liquor. The seized alcohol and the vehicles used in the smuggling attempt have an estimated combined value of approximately $100,800 in the international market.

Legal proceedings have been initiated following the seizure. A spokesperson for the Pakistan Coast Guards reiterated the force’s commitment to curbing drug trafficking and all forms of smuggling, emphasizing their role in protecting the national economy and public safety from the harmful effects of illegal trade.
