Vienna/Tehran (HRNW)- Rafal Grossi, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, has said that no evidence has been found of Iran building an atomic bomb.
According to foreign media, Rafal Grossi clarified in his statement that although evidence of building nuclear weapons has not emerged, serious concerns remain over Iran’s large stockpile of enriched uranium. He said that the current amount of enriched uranium and its level are a cause for concern for the international community.
The IAEA chief added that until Iran cooperates fully and transparently with the agency, the complete peacefulness of its nuclear program cannot be guaranteed. He stressed that inspectors must have access to all relevant sites and be provided with the necessary information.
Rafal Grossi called on Iran to fully cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency in order to restore confidence in the region and ensure effective implementation of international nuclear non-proliferation principles.
