Islamabad (HRNW)- Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has clarified that there is no shortage of petrol and diesel in the country, and Pakistan has a stock of these fuels for 28 days. He said that LPG is also available for another 15 days, while the import of LNG from Qatar has been stopped.
The Finance Minister said that the demand will be met through local gas and the supply of fuel to the public will not be affected. He also mentioned the formation of an emergency committee that will take immediate decisions according to the changing situation.
He reassured the public that the government’s preparations are complete and no disruption will be allowed in the energy sector.
