Narsingdi (HRNW)– A 5.7 magnitude earthquake struck Narsingdi, about 40 kilometers from Dhaka, today. Tremors were felt across various parts of Bangladesh and in eastern India, especially Kolkata.

According to the German Research Center for Geosciences, the earthquake had a depth of 10 kilometers. Initial reports confirm 3 deaths, while some temporary structures sustained minor damage. Citizens were seen evacuating their homes during the tremors.
