Kabul, Afghanistan (HRNW) – UNICEF has warned that 3.7 million children under five in Afghanistan face an increased risk of undernutrition as the peak wasting season approaches. The agency is urging stronger protection of children’s diets, prioritization of children under two, and expanded access to essential nutrition and health services to prevent life-threatening malnutrition.
