Malir / Karachi (HRNW): Dismantling an active network of vehicle lifters, the Ibrahim Haideri police executed a successful raid based on a vetted intelligence tip-off, apprehending one key suspect and recovering multiple stolen motorbikes.
Operating under the directives of SHO Ibrahim Haideri, a specialized police unit conducted a targeted sweep near Street Number 5, Ilyas Goth. During the raid, law enforcement personnel caught one suspect, identified as Arman, son of Imran, on the spot. However, taking advantage of the narrow and congested alleys of the neighborhood, his two accomplices managed to evade law enforcement and fled the scene.
According to police officials, the team recovered a motorbike from Arman’s immediate possession that had been stolen from the jurisdiction of the same station. A formal case regarding this specific theft had already been registered under FIR No. 440/2026, Section 381A of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC). Following an initial on-site interrogation, two additional stolen motorbikes were recovered based on the suspect’s identification. Arman also disclosed the identities of his fleeing partners as Shabeen, son of Mani, and Munna (parentage unknown).
The Ibrahim Haideri police formally processed the arrest of the suspect and subsequently transferred him to the Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC) Malir District for downstream interrogation, tracking of the remaining gang members, and repatriation of the stolen vehicles to their rightful owners.
