Washington (HRNW)- US Vice President JD Vance has praised Pakistan’s role in recent diplomatic developments, stating that Pakistan played a significant and positive part in facilitating negotiations between Iran and the United States.
In his statement, JD Vance said he would like to give special credit to Field Marshal Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who demonstrated exceptional leadership and statesmanship as hosts of the talks.
He said both leaders showed strong diplomatic ability, helping to enable discussions between the United States and Iran at a time when direct engagement between the two sides had remained limited for a long period.
According to the US Vice President, Pakistan’s hosting and diplomatic efforts were instrumental in bringing both sides to the negotiating table, creating new hope for reducing tensions in the region.
