Beirut (HRNW)- Despite the announcement of a ceasefire between the US and Iran, reports have emerged of continued Israeli attacks on Lebanon, further complicating the situation in the region.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had earlier stated that the ceasefire included Lebanon; however, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s office clarified that Lebanon is not part of the agreement. According to foreign media, Israeli airstrikes targeted Maqbara, Khayyam, and the southern city of Tyre, including areas near hospitals, even after the ceasefire announcement.
Analysts warn that Israel’s exclusion of Lebanon and ongoing attacks could escalate regional tensions, raising questions about the future stability of the ceasefire. The international community continues diplomatic efforts to prevent further conflict.
