Karachi (HRNW)- Another big shock has come to motorcycle buyers. United Auto Industries (Pvt) Ltd has announced an increase in the prices of its various motorcycles.
According to a notification issued by the company on April 3, it was not possible to maintain the current rates due to rising inflation, increase in petrol and raw material prices. The notification said that the company tried its best to keep prices stable, however, in view of the increasing cost of production, a change in prices became inevitable.
According to the notification, under the new decision:
Prices of 70 cc and 100 cc motorcycles increased by Rs 3,000
Prices of 125 cc motorcycles have been increased by Rs 5,000.
The company says that the new prices will be applicable from April 11, 2026 and will be applicable on all new bookings.
Motorcycle dealers and consumers say that this increase will further increase the difficulties for the public, who are already burdened by inflation, while there are fears that it will also have a negative impact on the transport sector.
