The recurring fatalities caused by speeding tankers have sparked outrage among citizens, who feel the “tanker mafia” remains unchecked by law enforcement.
Korangi: Speeding Tanker Crushes Motorcyclist
A tragic accident occurred near the Korangi Godam Chowrangi where a fast-moving water tanker collided with a motorcycle.

Casualties: One man died on the spot, while a child accompanying him sustained life-threatening injuries.

Police Action: Authorities confirmed that the accident was a direct result of overspeeding. The police have apprehended the driver at the scene and shifted the tanker to the local police station for further legal proceedings. The injured child was rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.
Northern Bypass: Two Youth Killed in Rickshaw Collision
In another horrific incident near Hamdard University on the Northern Bypass, a speeding tanker rammed into a rickshaw with such force that both occupants were killed instantly.

Identification: The deceased have been identified as 25-year-old Imran and 26-year-old Saad.

Medical Formalities: Rescue officials moved the bodies to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for completion of legal and medico-legal formalities before handing them over to the bereaved families.
