KARACHI (HRNW): A violent confrontation between two armed groups in Ghotki has resulted in the deaths of five individuals, sparking an immediate security response from provincial authorities. Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar took strict notice of the incident, demanding an urgent report and a detailed briefing on the initial police action from the SSP Ghotki.
The Home Minister has issued categorical instructions to law enforcement to apprehend all suspects involved in the killings and to conduct a thorough investigation into the underlying causes and motives behind the clash. He emphasized that any attempt to sabotage peace or challenge the writ of the state will be met with full legal force, asserting that the protection of citizens’ lives and property remains the government’s top priority. The Sindh Police have been directed to provide continuous updates on the progress of the operation and the subsequent arrests.
