KARACHI (HRNW) – Muhammad Farooq has submitted a resolution in the Sindh Assembly condemning the US and Israeli attacks on Iran.
The resolution strongly condemns the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Commander Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and describes the United States and Israel as the greatest threat to global peace.
Muhammad Farooq stated that the bombing of schools, hospitals, and residential areas in Iran constitutes a blatant violation of human rights, resulting in the deaths of thousands of innocent civilians, including children and female students. He also called Israel an illegitimate and oppressive state.
The resolution emphasizes that any interference in the internal affairs of a sovereign nation violates the United Nations Charter and that, under international law, targeting the head of any state during wartime is prohibited.
Muhammad Farooq urged the United Nations to enforce global law and immediately take steps to halt the war.
