Birmingham: British-Pakistani Youth Killed in Stabbing Outside Mosque, Two Others Injured

Birmingham (HRNW) — On February 22, 2026, a tragic incident occurred outside a mosque on Oldbury Road when Zeeshan Afzal was attacked with a knife around 9:00 PM on Friday night. He sustained severe injuries and, despite immediate medical attention from police and paramedics on the scene, succumbed to his wounds.

Reports indicate that two other young men, aged 19 and 22, were also injured in the incident. They were rushed to the hospital, where doctors have confirmed that their condition is now stable and out of danger.
