PTI Sit-in Resumes Outside KP House as Opposition Leaders Hold Key Meeting in Islamabad

Islamabad (HRNW) – Leaders and lawmakers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf have once again staged a sit-in outside KP House, with around 90 parliamentarians currently present at the venue and chanting slogans in protest.

Sources said that instructions were issued by Sohail Afridi that the sit-in will continue until Mahmood Khan Achakzai formally announces its end. Earlier, the party had temporarily called off protests outside KP House and Parliament Lodges after leaders including former Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur left the protest site, allowing traffic to resume.

Meanwhile, opposition lawmakers are also staging a sit-in at Parliament House, where leaders including Allama Nasir Abbas, Asad Qaiser, and Salman Akram Raja are participating. According to Gohar Ali Khan, the opposition alliance is awaiting the medical report of the party founder, and the next course of action will be decided after reviewing it.

An important meeting of the opposition parliamentary alliance is scheduled at Parliament House under the chairmanship of Mahmood Khan Achakzai, where the future political strategy and decisions regarding the continuation of the sit-in are expected to be finalized.
