Peshawar (HRNW) – The grand auction of personalized Marks Choice number plates is underway at the Arena Hall of Qayyum Sports Complex, drawing extraordinary public interest.
The record-breaking number plate “Waziristan 1” was sold for Rs 40.6 million to Faizur Rehman, making it the highest bid ever in the auction. The “Mohmand 1” plate fetched Rs 30.21 million, purchased by Haji Zahir Gul, while “Pashtun 1” secured the third-highest bid at Rs 10.32 million.
The enthusiasm of participants shows a strong willingness to spend significant amounts for unique and prestigious number plates. The auction is ongoing, and organizers expect more record-breaking bids in the coming hours.
