Utility Stores Workers Alliance Secretary General Arif Shah stated that employees have not received their salaries or packages, and thousands are struggling due to administrative negligence. He highlighted that 832 current employees have not been paid for October and November, while laid-off employees from February, April, and September continue to face severe hardships. Alarmingly, 29 dismissed employees have reportedly died due to mental stress.

The Workers Alliance expressed concern over the lack of action by Saif Anjum, Secretary of the Ministry of Industries and Production, and called on the Prime Minister to intervene, hold corrupt officials accountable, and ensure the immediate disbursement of packages. Employees warned of a sit-in in front of the Parliament House if their demands are not met.
