Authorities Say Law and Order Restored After Security Incident, Normal Life Resumes

Rawalakot (HRNW) – Authorities have stated that normalcy has been restored in Rawalakot following a security incident that occurred on the evening of June 7.

According to official accounts, a group identified by authorities as members of a prohibited organization allegedly attempted to disrupt the law and order situation in the city. Officials said security personnel responded to the situation and took measures to restore order.

Authorities reported that four officials lost their lives during the incident. Following security operations, law enforcement agencies dispersed those involved and re-established control of the situation.

Officials further stated that educational institutions, business centers and other social and economic activities in Rawalakot are continuing as normal. Police and other law enforcement agencies remain deployed to ensure public safety, protect lives and property and maintain peace in the area.

According to the administration, residents have continued their daily routines, and public services are functioning without interruption. Security agencies have reiterated their commitment to maintaining law and order across Rawalakot and other districts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

The situation is being closely monitored, and authorities have urged citizens to remain peaceful and cooperate with law enforcement agencies.
