Karachi (HRNW)- The Sindh government has taken an important step to improve travel facilities for citizens and announced the launch of People’s Bus Service from Sukkur to Shikarpur.
This announcement was made during a meeting of the Transport and Mass Transit Department chaired by Senior Minister Sindh Sharjeel Inam Memon, in which various important decisions were considered.
It was informed in the meeting that the Transport and Mass Transit Department Sindh is working on introducing new routes to provide better and modern travel facilities to citizens.
According to the spokesperson, the bus service will be formally launched on the Sukkur-Shikarpur route under the People’s Bus Service next week.
In addition, it is being decided to hold ceremonies for the provision of pink scooters for women in Sukkur and Hyderabad soon.
According to officials, these measures are part of the government’s vision to provide a safe, affordable and better travel system to citizens, especially women.
