KARACHI (HRNW): Senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Abdul Qadir Patel has taken a satirical swipe at the former Governor of Sindh, stating that Kamran Tessori remained oblivious to the circumstances of both his initial appointment and his sudden removal. Speaking to the media following the inauguration of the NADRA Maripur Center in Karachi, Patel remarked that the governorship is a prestigious constitutional office with boundaries clearly defined by the law, and when those boundaries are disregarded, such abrupt outcomes become inevitable.
In a characteristically humorous tone, Patel further commented on the political isolation of MQM-P leader Dr. Farooq Sattar following Tessori’s exit, jokingly appealing to the federal government to grant “Babu Bhai” (Farooq Sattar) a ministry so he is not left alone. The PPP leader emphasized that constitutional roles require a certain level of decorum and adherence to institutional limits, suggesting that the recent change in the Governor House was a natural consequence of the previous administration’s approach. This critique highlights the deepening political rift and the ongoing reshuffling of power dynamics within the province following the swearing-in of the new Governor.
