KARACHI (HRNW) – Leaders in Karachi strongly condemned the US and Israeli aggression against Iran, hailing Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as a hero for freedom-loving people worldwide. They emphasized that the Palestinian issue cannot be suppressed and that the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei strengthens their resolve. According to speakers, Ayatollah Khamenei sacrificed his life for the people of Palestine and Gaza, asserting that Palestine belongs to the Palestinians and that Israel is an illegitimate state.
These views were expressed by Senator Siraj-ul-Haq, former chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, during a Solidarity with Palestine Conference and Photo Exhibition organized by Palestine Foundation Pakistan at the Arts Council Karachi. The event included participation from artists representing various art institutions who highlighted the Palestinian issue through cultural and artistic expression.
Other speakers at the conference included former Senator Nihal Hashmi, former Mahfooz Yar Khan, renowned Islamic scholar Allama Amin Shaheedi, Dr. Saber Abu Maryam (Secretary-General), Israr Abbasi, Allama Qazi Ahmed Noorani, Pirzada Azhar Ali Hamdani, Christian leader Pastor Rehmat Lal, Moaz Nizami, Qazi Zahid Hussain, Allama Amin Ansari, and Kashmiri leader Basheer Sadozai.
The conference combined speeches with cultural performances to draw attention to the Palestinian cause and express solidarity with Palestinians.
