Pakistan Temporarily Closes Karachi and Lahore Airspace for Military Exercises

ISLAMABAD (HRNW) – Pakistan has temporarily closed the airspace over Karachi and Lahore due to military exercises.

The Pakistan Airports Authority has issued a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) stating that specific flight routes in the Karachi and Lahore Flight Information Regions (FIRs) will be restricted from March 3 to March 31, daily between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Authorities said the closure is due to Pakistan Air Force fighter jet exercises, which will temporarily limit the movement of commercial flights in the affected areas.
