KARACHI (HRNW) – The District West Police, Karachi conducted an operation against armed criminals in Yousuf Goth, Surjani, resulting in a two-sided exchange of gunfire.
According to police sources, one suspect was injured and taken into custody. He has been identified as Ali Jan, son of Mehram. Police recovered an illegal pistol, ammunition, spent cartridges, and cash from the arrested suspect. The wounded suspect has been transferred to hospital for medical treatment.
The suspect’s accomplice managed to escape, but efforts to locate him are ongoing. Authorities believe the fleeing suspect may also be injured. Legal proceedings have been initiated, and the criminal record of the arrested suspect is being verified.
