OGRA Assures 28-Day Fuel Stock Amid Iran-Israel Tensions

Islamabad (HRNW)- Despite the tension between Iran and Israel and the attacks on US bases in the Gulf countries, there is no fear of any impact on the availability of petrol and diesel in Pakistan.

The OGRA spokesperson has said that the country has a reasonable stock of petrol and diesel and the current stock is more than the country’s requirements. Pakistan has a stock of petrol and diesel for 28 days, which can meet the fuel needs of the people without any interruption.

It should be noted that an Israeli attack in the city of Minab in Hormozgan province in southern Iran resulted in the bombing of a primary school, in which forty schoolgirls were killed. On the other hand, Iranian missile attacks in the United Arab Emirates and northern Israel injured people and caused damage to property.

Iran also targeted US bases in Israel and the Gulf countries, including Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. The attention of the global media is currently focused on the Iran-Israel tension and the possible humanitarian and military impacts.

Pakistani authorities have appealed to the public not to worry and that fuel supply is currently continuing uninterrupted.
