Lahore (HRNW)- Abid Wazir Khan, CEO of a private college in Johar Town area, was kidnapped by unknown persons. An FIR has been registered after the incident on the complaint of the abductee’s brother.
According to initial reports, Abid Wazir Khan was in his car while leaving the office when he was suddenly stopped and kidnapped by one or more unknown persons. The FIR states that at the time of the kidnapping, the CEO was in touch with the female general manager on the phone, during which he heard the voice of an unknown person. The kidnapper accused the abductee of causing an accident to his car.
Lahore Police, CCD and other relevant agencies are immediately engaged in the investigation and all possible steps are being taken to recover the abductee.
Security experts say that the incidents of kidnapping of businessmen in Lahore are a serious warning for social safety and security, and timely action by the police and the presence of active investigation teams will ensure that the abductee is rescued as soon as possible and the elements involved in the kidnapping are brought to justice.
