New Monkeypox Case Reported in Malir, Total Infections Rise to Three

Karachi (HRNW)- After another case of monkeypox was reported in Shahr-e-Quaid, the total number of infected people has reached 3.
According to the details, the virus has been confirmed in a 40-year-old man in the Malir area, after which the health department immediately shifted the infected patient to isolation.

After this new case of monkeypox, the surveillance and screening process has been further tightened in Malir District Karachi.

According to the Sindh Health Department, the investigation of the case is underway and the close contacts of the patient are also being traced to prevent the spread of the virus.

The authorities have directed the citizens to take precautionary measures and immediately contact the nearest health center in case of any suspicious symptoms.
