Bilawal Officially Invites Maulana Fazlur Rehman to Join Sindh and Balochistan Governments

Islamabad, Pakistan (HRNW)- In a significant political development, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has formally invited Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman to join the provincial governments of Sindh and Balochistan. According to sources, Bilawal Bhutto personally visited the JUI-F leader with this special offer, leading to a one-on-one meeting where various matters of political cooperation were discussed.

The PPP’s proposal extends beyond provincial governance, reportedly including offers for collaboration in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir. While the offer marks a major strategic move by the PPP, Maulana Fazlur Rehman has requested time to consult with his party leadership before making a final decision.

Counter-Strategy by the Sindh Opposition

Following Bilawal Bhutto’s high-profile visit, the Sindh opposition has also swung into action. A high-level delegation from the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) is expected to meet Maulana Fazlur Rehman shortly to deliver a special message from Pir Pagara. Sources confirm that Pir Rashid Shah, son of Pir Pagara, has already established contact with the JUI-F chief.

The GDA delegation, which is set to meet the Maulana tonight, will reportedly include Secretary General Dr. Safdar Abbasi, Moazzam Abbasi, and Muhammad Khan Junejo. The outcome of these back-to-back meetings is expected to play a decisive role in shaping the future political landscape of both Sindh and the federal government.
