ISLAMABAD: (HRNW) The Islamabad High Court (IHC) heard a petition today seeking the transfer of the PTI founder to Shifa International Hospital for medical treatment. During the session presided over by Justice Inam Amin Minhas, the court granted a request from the petitioner’s counsel, Uzair Bhandari, for additional time to address objections raised by the Registrar’s Office. Justice Minhas questioned the frequency of such filings, noting that multiple similar petitions appeared to be surfacing, though Mr. Bhandari clarified that this specific petitioner, Dr. Uzma, had not filed any other such requests. Consequently, the court directed the Registrar’s Office to submit a detailed report on the number of similar pending cases and adjourned the hearing until next week.
