Hajj Operation 2026: Pakistan’s First Flight Scheduled for April 18

Islamabad, Pakistan (HRNW): The schedule for Pakistan’s Hajj flights for 2026 has been announced, with the first flights set to depart on April 18.

According to sources from the Ministry of Religious Affairs Pakistan, under the government Hajj scheme, a total of 468 flights will transport pilgrims to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina. On April 18, flights will depart from Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, and Multan.

Pilgrims will be informed of their assigned flights in the coming week. Under the official Hajj scheme, 119,000 pilgrims will travel this year. On the first day of operations, pilgrims will be transported to Medina via four flights, while flights to Jeddah will begin on May 4. The last flight from Pakistan is scheduled for May 21.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs confirmed that the Hajj operation will continue for 34 days, with the first 15 days dedicated to transporting pilgrims to Medina. A total of 186 flights will go to Medina, and 282 flights will fly to Jeddah.

Flights will operate from eight Pakistani cities:

  • Islamabad: 129 flights
  • Karachi: 124 flights
  • Lahore: 104 flights
  • Quetta: 18 flights
  • Multan: 34 flights
  • Sialkot: 26 flights
  • Faisalabad: 23 flights
  • Sukkur: 5 flights

This operation marks the start of Pakistan’s annual Hajj mission, ensuring pilgrims reach the holy sites safely and efficiently.
