Court Grants Bail to Gohar Khattak and Three Others in Unlawful Weapons Case

Karachi (HRNW) — A court has approved bail for Gohar Khattak and three other accused — Adam, Shah Faisal, and Hussain — in a case involving rioting and illegal weapons.

The court ordered Gohar Khattak to deposit Rs. 50,000 as surety for each of two cases, while the co-accused were directed to submit Rs. 50,000 as surety each.

The accused voluntarily surrendered under Khattak’s leadership, confirmed by lawyer Faran Sardar. The defense argued that the allegations were baseless, noting that all participants were merely present at an office inauguration event. They also pointed out that the prosecution admitted that no injuries occurred, and a minor had been unnecessarily included in the case.

The court granted bail subject to the surety conditions and set a date for further hearing of the case.
