PTI Rejects Gilgit-Baltistan Election Results, Announces Protest and White Paper on Alleged Rigging

Islamabad (HRNW) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has rejected the results of the recent Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly elections, alleging irregularities in the electoral process and announcing a series of protest measures.

Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan stated that the party does not accept the election results and considers the polls to be unfair and rigged.

He announced that PTI would prepare and release a detailed white paper outlining its allegations regarding the conduct of the elections and the issues it claims affected the electoral process.

Barrister Gohar further stated that the party plans to observe a Black Day in Gilgit-Baltistan on the day elected members take their oath, as a form of protest against the results.

PTI leaders have called for a transparent review of the electoral process, while emphasizing their intention to pursue political and legal avenues regarding their concerns.

The election results and PTI’s allegations are likely to remain a subject of political debate as various parties continue to assess the outcome of the polls in Gilgit-Baltistan.
