Piesendorf (HRNW)- A shocking video showing a terrifying mid-air collision between a woman paraglider and a small plane in the Austrian sky has gone viral on social media.
According to foreign media reports, 44-year-old Sabrina was paragliding in the Piesendorf area of Austria when a small aircraft suddenly collided with her parachute during the flight.
Reports said the woman was enjoying the scenic views and recording videos with her camera when the horrifying accident occurred, which was also captured on camera.
The viral footage shows the woman’s parachute being badly torn apart after the collision, causing her to fall rapidly toward the ground.
However, displaying remarkable presence of mind, Sabrina quickly deployed her emergency parachute, which enabled her to land safely.
According to media reports, both the paraglider and the 28-year-old pilot of the small plane remained unharmed in the incident, while authorities have launched an investigation into the accident.
The dramatic video has rapidly spread across social media platforms, with users praising the woman’s courage and quick thinking during the life-threatening situation.
