Pakistan Set to Gain Economically from Iran Ceasefire, Says Malik Khuda Bakhsh

Karachi (HRNW)- Malik Khuda Bakhsh, President of Pakistan Business Forum (Sindh Region), Convener of the FPCCI Energy Standing Committee, and senior leader of PPDA, has stated that if sanctions on Iran are lifted following the ceasefire, Pakistan will reap extraordinary economic benefits. The country will have the opportunity to import cheap industrial raw materials from Iran, strengthening domestic industries, while energy needs can be met through a gas pipeline from Iran.

Malik Khuda Bakhsh praised Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their outstanding role in preventing the US-Iran war and promoting peace, saying their efforts have made Pakistan a champion of global peace and restored confidence in the country as a safe and attractive investment destination. He suggested that the tireless efforts of these leaders merit the Nobel Peace Prize.

He added that the ceasefire has already positively impacted global petroleum and energy prices and will further promote economic growth, trade, and industrial activities worldwide, including in Pakistan.
