London, United Kingdom (HRNW): Jameelma Khan, former wife of Imran Khan, has been fined £1,000 for exceeding the speed limit in her registered vehicle in the United Kingdom.
According to media reports, Jameelma did not initially respond to a police notice regarding the speeding violation. She explained that renovation work was ongoing at her home, and the police letter had been misdirected by her builder. She stated that she was unaware of the notice until October, and once she received it, she promptly completed the required form and submitted it.
Jameelma also clarified that her car was being driven by the builder at the time of the incident, but she was held accountable for the violation.
Acknowledging the mistake, she accepted that the fine was justified and should be applied.
