Karachi, Pakistan (HRNW): A video showing alleged misconduct and verbal altercation by police officers at a biryani center in Gulshan-e-Iqbal has gone viral on social media.
According to the East Police Karachi spokesperson, SSP East Zubair Nazir Sheikh took immediate notice of the incident. Following a preliminary investigation, both officers involved have been suspended, and a formal inquiry has been ordered.
SSP East stated that further departmental action will be taken based on the inquiry report. He emphasized that no leniency will be shown to any officer whose actions damage the reputation of the Sindh Police.
