Lahore (HRNW): Pakistan Railways has decided to take strict legal action against a YouTuber who attempted to misrepresent a condemned (scrap) railway coach as an active passenger coach. According to an official spokesperson, the YouTuber entered a coach that had been parked exclusively as scrap to record a video, falsely portraying it to the public as a functional service coach and creating widespread misunderstanding.
FIA Cyber Crime Wing to be Involved
Railway authorities confirmed that a formal complaint will be submitted to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing to initiate proper legal proceedings against the content creator in accordance with the law.
Zero Tolerance for Defamation
The spokesperson emphasized that no individual will be allowed to mislead the public or deliberately tarnish the institutional reputation of Pakistan Railways. The department vows to take this specific case to its logical conclusion.
Furthermore, the railway administration clarified that indiscriminate legal action will be taken in the future against anyone found engaging in similar deceptive activities.
