Murree: Massive Influx of Tourists Expected on Eid-ul-Adha; Section 144 Imposed, Bachelors Banned from Mall Road

MURREE (HRNW) – In anticipation of a massive influx of tourists from across the country during the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha holidays, the district administration of Murree has finalized comprehensive security, traffic, and facilitation arrangements.

According to the district administration, Section 144 has been enforced throughout the hill station to regulate traffic flow and maintain law and order. To assist and guide travelers, dedicated tourist facilitation centers have been established at various key entry and transit points across the city.

Officials stated that keeping the expected rush in view, more than 200 additional traffic wardens have been deployed. These wardens will work in shifts to ensure the smooth movement of vehicles and prevent gridlocks on the narrow mountainous roads.

Furthermore, in a major move to ensure a comfortable and secure environment for families, the administration has banned the entry of bachelor tourists onto the main Mall Road, aiming to provide a peaceful atmosphere for visiting families.
