Iranian Interior Minister Praises Pakistan’s Role in Ceasefire and Regional Peace Efforts

Tehran (HRNW)- Iranian Interior Minister Sikandar Momeni has praised Pakistan for its role in promoting a ceasefire and supporting reconciliation efforts, saying Islamabad’s contribution will always be remembered.

He made these remarks during a meeting with Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, where both sides discussed regional developments and efforts to promote peace and stability.

The Iranian Interior Minister said that the ceasefire was made possible due to Pakistan’s mediation and constructive efforts, adding that Islamabad’s positive role is highly appreciated.

Meanwhile, Mohsin Naqvi reiterated that Pakistan seeks lasting peace and stability in the region and continues to support efforts for a durable solution to conflicts in the Middle East.

He emphasized that war is not a solution to any issue, and that all disputes should be resolved through dialogue, negotiations, and diplomacy.
