Islamabad, Pakistan (HRNW)- The government has suspended Senior Police Service officer Waqar-ud-Din Syed for a period of 120 days, according to a notification issued by the Cabinet Secretariat, Establishment Division.
The suspension has been implemented under the Civil Servants (Efficiency and Disciplinary) Rules 2020, and will take immediate effect. Waqar-ud-Din Syed, a Grade 20 officer, was awaiting posting in the Establishment Division at the time of the suspension.
The notification states that he will remain under suspension until further orders.
