Major Break in Investigation of Mother and Three Children Murdered and Dumped in Sewer

Karachi, Pakistan (HRNW)- Authorities in Karachi have made significant progress in the investigation of a shocking case in which a mother and her three children were murdered and their bodies dumped in a sewer near the Mai Kolachi Road railway crossing.

The DIG South, Asad Raza, has formed a five-member investigation committee to probe the incident. The committee is headed by SP Investigation Kemari, and includes DSP Investigation Site, Inspector Arshad Tanoli, Inspector Muhammad Mahmood, Inspector Muhammad Masood, and Sub-Inspector Shahid Riaz. The DIG stated that the committee will uncover the facts behind the crime and conduct detailed questioning of the arrested suspect. If additional suspects are found to be involved, legal action will be taken against them as well.

Police confirmed that the victim was identified as a divorced woman named Anila, and her children were Koneen Zahra, Kishwar Zahra, and Hasnain. The family had been residing at a hotel in Khardaar at the time of the incident.

The primary suspect, Mansoor, was taken into custody, and during initial investigations, he confessed to murdering the mother and her three children. The reasons behind the heinous act are under investigation, and authorities are examining the possibility of other individuals being involved.
