Lahore (HRNW)– The School Education Department has imposed a strict ban on keeping sticks in schools across Punjab. The move has been taken in view of the increasing incidents of violence against children, where more than 70 cases were reported in the last academic year and more than 81 in the current year.
Strict action will be taken against the teachers concerned for violating the ban, even an FIR may be registered. Officials say this step is necessary for the safety of children and a better educational environment.
