Islamabad (HRNW)- The federal cabinet, in its decision of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) meeting held on December 9, 2025, has allowed overseas Pakistanis to import used vehicles for three years under two schemes.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Finance, this approval was given on the summary of the Ministry of Commerce, under which amendments have been made to the vehicle import policy. Only the Transfer of Residence and Gift Scheme have been maintained.
Under the scheme, the period for importing vehicles has been extended from two years to three years, while imported vehicles will not be transferable for one year.
This decision will provide an opportunity for overseas Pakistanis to bring vehicles into the country easily and conveniently.
