Jam Ikramullah Dharejo, visits the Sindh Industrial Trading Estate (SITE)

Karachi (HRNW)- Sindh Minister for Industries and Commerce, Jam Ikramullah Dharejo, has visited the Sindh Industrial Trading Estate (SITE) today to review the progress of development projects being undertaken under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP).

On this occasion Secretary Industries and Commerce Sindh Shadia Jaffer, Managing Director SITE Ahmed Shah, the Project Director, Chief Engineer SITE, and other senior officials were also present.

During the visit, Secretary Industries and Commerce Sindh Shadia Jaffer briefed the Minister on the ongoing development projects. She informed him that, with the support of the Federal Government, infrastructure improvement works are underway in SITE, including the construction and rehabilitation of 28 roads at a cost of Rs. 5 billion. Approximately 80 percent of the work has already been completed.

Provincial Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharejo directed the concerned authorities to ensure that at least 90 percent of the development work under the project is completed before June 30. He also emphasized the need to maintain transparency in all development activities.

Speaking on the occasion, Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said that the Government of Sindh is taking all possible measures to improve infrastructure in industrial zones so that industrial and commercial activities can continue to grow and a conducive environment for investment can be provided across the province.
